Hello everyone, I'm hoping to get some help for my Dad. He's Ex Army (21 signals), and since leaving the forces he's been running pubs, which he's loved doing for many years. The reason for this cry for help is because my Dad has recently been diagnosed with cancer (it's come back for the third time) and three weeks ago, he had a stroke, which means he is now unable to work. As his work was also his accomodation, he's found himself in quite a difficult situation.

He's very lucky in the sense that he has a small pension, but not enough money for a deposit and first months rent on a house so that he can set himself up. He's always positive, he's tried the council and the royal British legion, and whilst they are trying, they haven't been able to help.

I'm sure there are lots of people in a similar position who all need help, but if anyone could see their way to just give a couple of pounds towards helping him we'd be so grateful
