Thank you for visiting my page. I really appreciate it!
One of the most powerful earthquakes ever recorded in Mexico struck off the country's southern coast, toppling hundreds of buildings and sending panicked people fleeing into the streets in the middle of the night. At least 60 people were reported dead.
Chiapas is Mexico’s most impoverished state. Bordering Guatemala, the region is heavily populated by indigenous tribes who complain that Mexico’s federal government cares little about their situation. Around 1000 family houses were destroyed and they all need our help.
We want to collect money to help our community to survive this days and find a new home, because many people lost almost all they had. The bank of Mexico has opened an account for this, and they will put 1 mxn peso per each mxn peso we contribute. So Rodrigo and I wish to ask you very kindly for your help to rise any amount that we can and then we will send it directly to the institutions that are giving everything to help this people.
Thank you so much for your help, any contribution is significant!
