Story
My mother was diagnosed with Usual Interstitial pneumonia in 2010.
Usual interstitial pneumonia (UIP) is a form of lung disease characterized by progressive scarring of the lungs.
Her doctor's prognosis was, tragically, that she had 10 years left to live, before complete respiratory failure occurs. She seemed to be doing well for a prolonged period of time, but then deteriorated rapidly over the course of the past 2 years... and she is only getting weaker by the day.... she only just recently came out of 7 weeks in hospital and rehabilitation after a relapse...
Not only has she got UIP though, but, she is in fact also diabetic.
This is taking an emotional and financial toll on myself and my family... we are struggling to financially support her illnesses and your donations will go towards alleviating my mother's suffering and taking strain off of my mother in law, my cousin and my stepdad who are going above and beyond to clean and feed her.
The money will go towards the rental of an oxygen cylinder, in case of a power failure. She has to be on oxygen 24/7. This will also in turn encourage mobility, as she will be able to get out of her cramped little room). We can employ a carer to assist her, daily, with her most basic needs as she is very weak and struggles to stand let alone walk. We can buy her proper, healthy meals that will, hopefully, aid in the rise of her energy levels and, be better for a person who is diabetic. We can buy her data for her phone, because, being alone most days she goes onto the internet on her phone and when she runs out, family and friends lose touch and immediately think the worst!
Thank you, on behalf of myself and my family, God Bless you and thank you in advance for your donation.
Love, Danielle. xxx
