On the 29th May 2021, myself and my 3 eldest sons; Callum, Ryan & Kyle will be joining my goddaughter and my son’s cousin, Lauren, jumping out of a plane at 14,000ft. We are putting our fears aside in attempt to raise money for Lauren, who is a 28 year old single mum in desperate need of potentially life saving treatment

In November 2019, Lauren then aged 26 was diagnosed with grade 3 stage 3 triple negative breast cancer. She started treatment straight away with 6 rounds of chemotherapy planned. When they were administering the fourth round, this began to affect her heart function and, consequently, was forced to stop. At this point Lauren underwent 4 operations, a double mastectomy and had numerous lymph nodes removed. Unfortunately, the cancer then returned in surrounding lymph nodes and therefore underwent a 5th operation.

At this point Lauren began to do everything she could to return to full health, focusing on fitness and nutrition. However, she has now been given the devastating news that she has only 6 months to live.

Lauren, now aged just 28 years old, is a beautiful, strong and determined young lady who is not willing to give up without a fight!! Throughout everything she has moved mountains for her children, Penny (age 7) & Arthur (age 4) to ensure that they remain the priority whilst making special memories that will last a lifetime.

There is no curative treatment oncology treatment left for Lauren to try now. However, Lauren now has one last hope of curing this awful disease which would give her a chance of seeing her children grow up. The treatment we want to raise money for is based in the Oasis of Hope Hospital in Mexico which offer alternative cancer treatments. This hospital has an excellent reputation for positive results and are known as the experts in stage 4 cancer treatment globally. Unfortunately, Lauren is required to fully fund this herself and has been quoted £35-50k. She will also be trying alternative treatments in the UK and if she becomes not well enough to travel to Mexico then funds will be used to use these treatments.
