Santa and his Elves (a team of 20) worked tirelessly for 6 weeks, at the Gunwharf Quays,Portsmouth, Santa Express Grotto, providing a Christmas Experience for all the children that came to see them. Sadly, the company in Hull, Grotto Hire UK (Agility Events) who employed them, have gone into liquidation and notified the whole team that they will not be paid! Some elves are having to leave their homes, because they didnt get the money to pay their rent. The company who haven’t paid them, have already moved their assets to another company. This ‘Just Giving’ site is to try and raise enough money to get legal help to take action against the company, but more importantly to fund the team who have been left with nothing! Please help, by donating as much as you can. Lets show Santa and his Elves that we care as much for them as they did for our children at Xmas.

All monies will be accounted for, to show how the funds are to be apportioned. If we dont raise enough, each member of the team will get the same rate per hour that equals the total amount raised. If we raise more, the excess will fund the legal advice. If we are fortunate enough to raise more than is needed, the difference will be donated to a local childrens hospice and give the children an extra Santa-tastic time.
