I've raised £2500 to Help Toto walk! Toto has luxating patella in both back legs.

HI! We need your help!
Toto is a 1 year old chihuahua yorkie cross. As is so common with small breeds she has a defect called luxating patella in both her knees. This means the space where her knee cap is meant to sit is either very shallow or not there at all. This causes her knee caps to slip in and out of position almost constantly leaving her in some pain and unable to walk correctly.
Now don't go feeling too sorry for her as she doesn't let it slow her down at all! This lady loves to run full speed around the local park and she can walk my socks off every day! But she does feel pain from it. It causes her to hold her left back leg up (it's her "bad" leg of the two) and she waddles when she walks as she can't straighten her legs fully earning her the nickname goose!
The reason we need help is while we are saving as much as we can it will take us over two years to save the money we need and Toto needs to have these operations as soon as we can in order to prevent any further damage and of course to get her pain free as soon as we possibly can! We already have the consultation fee but we really need help to raise the rest!
Having spoken to a vet at length we know that it will cost roughly £1000 per leg for the operations. Plus after care and meds so we need roughly £2500 to get this done! Should we raise any extra it will be donated to Cardonald cat and dog home to help the homeless and abandoned pets of Glasgow!
Thank you so much for any help you can give! We will give updates as things get rolling! Lets do this and get Toto walking!!
