Ben is nearly 11 years old and lives in Hythe, in the New Forest.

Ben has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, a life limiting, muscle wasting disease.

Ben's muscles are slowly failing him. They will continue to fail him and his condition will progress until he is no longer able to use any of his muscles.

Ben's life will be cut short as a result. Just this week a member of the Duchenne community died, he was 11 years old.

There is no cure for Duchenne, we can not fix Ben but we can make his, and his family's lives easier.

Ben will need equipment and support that the NHS cannot fund. This is where we step in x
