Story
We are a group of 16 to 17 year olds working with the MK Dons Sport and Education Trust on the NCS programme. Our aim is to raise awareness and money for the charity Hope UK. We want to raise awareness and provide knowledge about drug and alcohol abuse within our community. We aim to do this by handing out information leaflets and posters in our local area. We also aim to work together to raise money and awareness on a variety of social media sites, using the hashtag #HopesNotHighs.
It costs around £450 per year for this national charity to help keep up each drug educator's training up. This is vital in order to help provide the information to young adults so that they can make educated and informed decisions about drugs and alcohol. Hope UK receives a lot of its income from donations, and so our team is excited to give this charity all the help we can.
