Story
Ilkley play area is a huge space but greatly lacking in equipment suited to the needs of the community as a whole. Aimed at able bodied under 10’s, the equipment is poor and wear and tear has taken its toll. For children who are reliant upon their wheelchairs, the space is lacking in facilities that they can enjoy. Our mission is to raise £200,000 to make our playground the BEST! To enable EVERY SINGLE CHILD and family from not just our town, but EVERYWHERE to come and be free and adventurous and challenge themselves, build their confidence and express themselves

2 years ago I ran a fundraising drive in Burley in Wharfedale and successfully raised £125,000 in 12 months - this money went on installing an AMAZING play space with lots of pieces of inclusive equipment! The plan is to do the same in Ilkley!
