I've raised £25000 to enpower our community to look after our gardens, our streets and nurture a culture of Civic Pride in Margate, where we live.'

In these challenging times we are assisting TDC maintain our streets and 'gardens'. Our wonderful volunteers are currently working on eight community garden projects at Margate Station Approaches; The Eliot Shelter on Margate Promenade, Westbrook Beach and most recently at ‘The Hub’ of Age Uk (Thanet).
Watch out for the fabulous flower planters to be established at the front of Margate Station in the spring- designed in conjunction with The Turner Centre.
Wildernesstowonderland champions diversity, inclusion, physical and mental health, community building and the scale of our success is only constrained by recruiting volunteers, raising funds…. And the weather!

This scheme is not intended to threaten or criticise the efforts of Thanet Council. However there is litter in the streets, sand encroachment on paths and stairways and neglected areas which could be beautiful. We are not suggesting an alternative service to that already provided but a complimentary service to 'pick up the pieces' that get forgotten and left behind....
Thank you for your consideration and support
