Supporting Maldon Youth Orchestra in memory of Clifford Pratt 13/05/1931- 29/12/2025

Clifford Pratt, much loved husband, father and grandfather passed away on the 29th of December 2025.

Clifford was a life long lover, maker and teacher of music. He played in his regiment band during his national service in Egypt and later formed the Cliff Cannel band, playing at many events in Heybridge, Maldon and beyond including a number of River Boat Shuffles. Later he taught music both from his home and at Braintree collage. In later years, he acted as DJ at the dance club that he attended with his beloved wife Patricia.

If you have fond memories Clifford the family welcome donations to this page instead of flowers. All monies raised will be donated the Maldon Youth Orchestra in his memory, so his love of music can be shared with the next generation.
