Our amazing, strong, brave Daddy was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leaukamia in November 2016.

Enduring some grueling treatment, he spent months as an inpatient on Talbot Butler Ward and as an outpatient in the Haematology Clinic.

The staff cared for him with competence and compassion, they supported us as a family and his consultant went the extra mile to try and find a suitable trial once dad's initial treatment failed. Sadly this was not meant to be as the Leukaemia was too aggressive and Dad passed away on Sunday 20th August. We will be eternally grateful for the kindness shown to Dad, from the housekeepers, nurses, cleaners to consultants.

We would like to offer this donation page as an alternative to floral tributes. The funds raised will be used to buy some equipment in memory of dad that will benefit patients that endure weeks to months in hospital undergoing intensive treatments.
