Story
Jacob Dumigan (age 6) is planning to take part in a kids triathlon at the start of September. It involves a lake swim followed by a cycle ride and finishes with a run. Jacob would like to make his first triathlon super special by raising money for JMA (junior mission for all) though our church Seymour Street Methodist. This year JMA is raising important funds for a small hospital in rural Ghana. If you would like to support his fundraising endeavour please sign his sponsorship form or contact Rachael on 07752320331 or redumigan@gmail.com.
All money raised will be forwarded onto JMA Ireland.
Info on Ankaase Hospital:
The hospital treats over 155,000 people a year. It was built over 30 years ago and is showing signs of age with many areas around the hospital in need of repair.
JMA collections will help develop the children’s and public health wards, and help create a dedicated nutrition area in the hospital. By having a dedicated nutrition area there can be a greater understanding of how to prevent malnutrition by using education and food demonstrations.
