Story
Jacob was a very loved and well known autistic boy who would have done anything for anyone. He touched so many hearts in his short 17 years. Chesterfield born and breed. He had suffered from mental illness for so many years and his family, mainly is Mum never gave up strength and hope. She fort so hard on such a long and painful journey.
In such sadness hope was taken way as in a horrific and heartbreaking way Jacob passed away this weekend at Walton Dam. Leaving the most loving and caring family totally broken.
This fund raising page has been set up to help raise funds for his funeral, to ease the pain to a family whom have already suffered so much and as a community we want to take away some of their worry.
Please if you could spare a small amount for this familiy and to help make sure this beautiful boy both inside and out gets the send off he deserves and the family get to say goodbye without worry.

7 years agoWe have hit a small milestone of £1000 but more is needed. I just wished you could have all met Jacob and the love he emitted to all. FROM HIS MUM SUSAN>>> Jacob Bates funeral will be held on Aug 10th at 1.10pm at Brimington Crematorium Chesterfield (full address on request and walking distance from the train station) A double slot has been booked. The wake location will be confirmed in 2 days. All friends and family are welcome to attend and colourful clothing is to be worn - no dark/black wear.

7 years agoWe will be holding a fundraising day @ The Pioneer Club In Dronfield on Saturday 5th August to raise funds for Jacobs funeral (All are welcome) lots of things will be going on throughout the day and night All money donated into collection buckets and other bits and bobs through the day will be put towards Jacobs funeral ) anyone coming can make a small entry donation if you wish The Pioneer Club, 1 Stonelow Rd, Dronfield S18 2ET
