A year on my friend, ex navy seamen Shane Henry is recovering from an above the knee amputation due to cancer. Currently wheelchair bound due to a lengthy process of awaiting his prosthetic leg. Not only has he been house bound because of his trauma, covid then set in, causing more and more months of staying in doors and not being able to enjoy what he loves, his family. Whilst the house has been adapted for Shane the garden remains unfinished, meaning shane and his family have had no safe place to be together except within their 4 walls.
Shane's wife is a nurse in the NHS so has spent many days away during this pandemic with fear and anxiety of the unmentionable. Please help us complete a safe place for them to spend time together and for shane to be able to watch his children play. We dont ask alot, it's just materials as we have the manual labour covered.
