My brother Michael and his wife Claire adopted Josh, our nephew, 3+ years ago. After a difficult start in life he is making great progress, however he is now approaching his 4th birthday, as yet he is still unable to speak and has recently been diagnosed with autism. He is a wonderful wee character with a cheeky smile, and he receives great benefit and support from attending Riverbank Nursery in Ayr.

In recognition of this I am running my first ever half-marathon on Sun 1 October at the Great Scottish Run in Glasgow and am hoping to raise funds and accept any donations to allow Riverbank to buy additional play equipment for Josh and the other kids. Any contribution, large or small, is very much appreciated.
