On Monday 17th April this year my dear brother lost his brave and unfortunately short battle with Cancer. His final days and hours were made more comfortable by the exceptional care he received at the Cynthia Spencer Hospice in Northampton where he was surrounded by his loving family and closest friends during his final days. Cynthia Spencer rely on donations and the good will of the public to maintain this fantastic care and once a year they organise a cycle ride named ‘Cycle for Cynthia’ which is also supported by the local rugby team; Northampton Saints whom my late brother was an avid supporter of.

This year, four of Martin’s closest friends from Northampton Mel,Doug, Bret and Emma will be completing the ride in his honour with one of them actually riding Martin’s own bike. They will be cycling 25 miles on Sunday 24th September and my Mum ,my girls my son in law , myself and our family as well as the riders themselves would be very grateful for any support you could provide towards this very worthwhile cause.’
