My Great Grandfather took part in the WW1 Battle of Arras. He was taken prisoner after a cruel and vicious battle. I am doing the 100km Frontline Walk, The 100 Day ~Offensive, over 100 k in 5 days visiting many battlefields starting near Arras to the St Symphorien Military Cemetary where the first casualty of WW1 name of John Parr plus the last British casualty name of George Ellison.
