Beginning November 28, we will attempt to run 242km through the Peruvian dessert as part of the MDS ultra-marathon. Madness? Certainly. But the challenges of the MDS race are nothing compared to the challenges of those fleeing persecution around the world.

Amnesty International is a Nobel Peace Prize winning human rights organization, focused on spotlighting and preventing human rights abuses. It is independent of state or religious sponsorship, so relies heavily on individual support. Their current efforts include campaigns focused on LGBT rights, refugee/migrant rights, and political speech.
