MANCHESTER CANAL 55K Planning stages

I am going to Walk, the length of the Rochdale canal in

support of the Droylsden juniors Girls Madrid Fun

Starting in the small town of Sowerby Bridge, I will trek the 55k following mainly the Rochdale canal through the Pennine hills, this is a relatively flat route giving a fantastic view of the Pennine’s without having to trek high into the hills. I will finish in Manchester City Centre close to Piccadilly Train Station.

I will pass through Rochdale, Failsworth and Chadderton, Littelborough, Tormorden and Hebden Bridge giving some fantastic views of the local countryside.

This is a long distance on a relatively flat route, so anybody willing to give me a lift October 29th 2017 to would be helpful.

I must be mad but worth it for the 27 girls who will enjoy a trip of a lifetime
