Barrow Island Rugby is in need of your help! We are hoping to raise money for our Club and get our pitch to the standard that is required.

Four years ago, we gave all of our funds to contractors for them to re-design our pitch. This turned into a disaster and the contractors we entrusted this job to, let us down and the contractors still have all of our funds that we spent years raising.

We are now in the National Conference, however our pitch is not at the standard required, so we are in danger of getting kicked out. We are hoping to raise £36,000 for top soil and machinery to get our pitch game ready.

We have 7 kids teams, a women team and 2 open age teams. Our high standard of training & effort has made many players turn professional and more so help develop them into respectable adults.

All of our committee have given their life to the club, with some of them nearly losing their homes plus all the added stress including having to take the contractors to court over something that should have been simple and straightforward.
