Hello, my name is Evelynn Bell.

I was born on 25th May 2012.

I was born with severe Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus. I am paralyzed from the hip down.

I had my back closed up during a 12 hour operation when I was 8 months old back in jan 2013 but had to stay in hospital all this time. (ST Mary`s children's hospital).

I had a drain put in to remove any pressure on my brain

I have had this procedure done twice, then i had a shunt fitted.

I spent the first 8 months on my tummy.

I began at Church school in 2016

I have made lots of friends at school and love going to parties.

I live with my daddy Chris.

My daddy does everything for me and takes me to all my hospital appointments.

Daddy takes me swimming on a Friday after school which I love.

We do lots of cooking and art.

I am very excited about the new equipment we have seen. The Rabbit.

This would mean I could stand up and move myself around and be the same height as my friends and not just sitting in my wheelchair. I could join in playtimes and P.E more.

I could also dance at parties being higher than in my wheelchair.

I love basketball and I could go bowling again as I am too small in my wheelchair.
