Story

Sticks and Stones Woodland Retreat.

I'm trying to raise money so I can build my dream.

For the last 8 years I've been running my own business making sheds, summerhouses and for the last 2 years I've been making glamping huts.

I worked 7 days a week for the first year in buisness, I missed family holidays school plays and lots of precious time with my family.

I now work 5 days a week and Saturday mornings and I get one off week in the summer to go on holiday with my family.

My business is safe and stable and provides me and a couple of very good lads with a living.

I'm a worker not a scrounger.

My dream now is to create a woodland retreat in Warwickshire. A place where people can come to get away from the ratrace . A place to come to retreat from the world and recharge.

In this day and age we all need to go back to nature.

I'm going to rent 13 acres of woodland that I recently found.

I' m going to make glamping hut, build yurts , shepherd huts and treehouses to rent to the public.

The whole site will be off grid and as eco friendly as possible.

There will be no electricty. Mobile phones and technology will be completely band.

I want to create a place that you can forget about the outside world.

I will have fire pits, seating and hammocks scattered all over the site.

I will build a central timber framed community hall that will be used for healing, yoga, meditation.

Any donations towards this will go towards the legal costs and the basic foundations to get the project off the ground.

This is my dream and I'm not going to give up or fail.

If you are kind enough to donate to this then your donation will be refunded off your first stay with us.

Thanks for reading this, even just sharing this post will help.

Many Thanks

Jon Salisbury.
