The Covid 19 pandemic is having a devastating effect on India with the highest rate of infection in any country and it appears the worst is yet to come.Families are unable to get treatment for their loved ones and the lockdown continues to impact on peoples lives.

My name is Nagendra and I am from India, now living and working in the UK and naturally wanting to do whatever I can to help my relatives and family who are still living in India. But that idea soon developed into an initiative whereby help from this country could be spread to a wider group of needy people.

Without sufficient funds no medical treatment can be given. So once again the poorest in India are left to suffer and die on the street.
