My dear wife Kate was diagnosed with myeloma on 23rd December 2014 after a year of many tests and investigations. I remember the nurse telling us Kate had years not months to live. However on August 6th 2017 Kate lost her brave battle against the devasting disease cancer.

Those months were very difficult for Kate and our family as she had to undergo many intense treatments. Those treatments were intense, often inflicting harrowing pain upon Kate and therefore limiting her young life of 42 years. We were able to create some wonderful memories and moments as a family on a couple planned treasured holidays.

What many do not realise is that whilst Kate and our family were trying to fight a terminal illness is that life unfortunately had to carry on and that meant bills had to be continued to be paid.
