Hi, I'm Katie and I run my own sitting service within the health sector, where I specialise in Dementia care. This means that I travel to people's homes to keep them company and I regularly take them out on day trips. I currently use my own car, however, I often find that I am quite limited for space, especially when I am trying to fit wheelchairs in my boot. I also like the idea of being able to take out more than one person at a time! This is just not doable in my current vehicle!

My aim is to raise enough money to be able to afford a 6-8 seated Minivan. This method of transport will also allow me to facilitate the Memory Matters day club that I run in Plymouth on a Friday. If I have a Minivan, I will be able to collect members on my way to the day club and drop them off after it has finished. This means they won't have to worry about finding their own transport into the city.
