Story
My husband, Steven, suffered a brain haemorrhage on 24th December 2016 & was transferred from Forth Valley Royal Hospital in Larbert on 25th December 2016 to the Department of Clinical Neuroscience at the Western General in Edinburgh to undergo emergency surgery.
Thereafter he spent the following few weeks in both the Intensive Care Unit & Ward 33 receiving 24-hour care before he sadly suffered a further haemorrhage & passed away on 3rd February 2017.
During this time the care and support was simply amazing and we couldn't thank them enough.
My daughter (Karis), my sister (Gillian) and I have decided to run the Kelpies Supernova 5KM on 11th November 2017 to help raise money for the Department of Clinical Neuroscience at the Western General & would be grateful for your support.
