I've raised £1700 to GORWELION MENTAL HEALTH CENTRE ABERYSTWYTH

Hello everyone! Well what a year 2020 has been!! Well done to everyone for surviving and staying strong throughout and getting through it all. As we head into 2021, I am aiming to run 15k (15 kilometres or just over 9 miles!) on the 20th of March this year and raise money for charity. This only gives me two months to train for it but I am determined to complete the challenge!
I am doing this challenge to raise some money to support my local Mental Health Centre which is Gorwelion in Aberystwyth.
Mental health means a lot to me as I am sure it does to everyone. As you may be aware, you or someone you know will most certainly suffer or will be affected by mental health at some point. Speaking from personal experience I know I have. This is why doing this challenge and raising money for Gorwelion is important to me! Gorwelion have helped me through some real difficult times and during my time with them, I have had an amazingly supportive, passionate team there that always go the extra mile to help out!
During this current global pandemic caused by Covid-19 the staff in Gorwelion have been overwhelmed and are working under difficult circumstances! While this pandemic is affecting us all it affects those with mental health struggles a great deal more. Therefore, by doing this challenge, I’m hoping you would kindly sponsor me so I can give something back to my local centre.
I would really appreciate any donations and I can assure you that it’s for a worthwhile cause. (every little helps!!)
MENTAL HEALTH MATTERS!!!
ITS OKAY TO NOT BE OKAY.
Thank you - Kirsten Davies.
