We are absolutely sick of what this horrible disease is doing to our family, so myself, Abby and Mags are walking the dementia walk this Sunday. For those of you who don't know, my Grandma and Father both have demetnia. It's a tiny bit easier to swallow with my Grandma (however horrible and dibilitating it is) as she's 83, has had a fantastic life and is even still well physically, but my Dad is 53 and has already been dealing with the consequences of dementia for a few years and its upsetting, frustrating and makes me angry as we can't do anything to cure or even stabilise his condition, its just a waiting game to see how things pan out. So any money that we can raise to go towards finding cures or preventions would be amazing.
