Story

Firstly I would like to Thank You for taking the time to visit our Crowdfunding Page.
Our son Danny is a 6 month old Twin and has been diagnosed with Severe Plaglocephaly Syndrome caused by a condition called Torticollis which he was born with.
This is a muscular/nerve disorder that has now caused abnormalities in his head growth and shape as well as ear disfiguration all on his left side. These abnormalities are extremely noticeable and also cause discomfort to how Danny holds his head and sleeps.
The only way to rectify his head is to have a specialised Timband helmet that is made to measure and to be worn 23 hours a day for 5-6 months. Due to a baby's head becoming fully developed by 14months we only have a very short window to get the process started and therefore he will have the Helmet fitted on 4th September 2017 in Glasgow.
Unfortunately this medical care is not eligible on the NHS or even in Aberdeen. We will be travelling back and forth to Glasgow every few weeks for check ups and adjustments. Danny as I've said is a twin but also one of our 4 children and we are hoping and praying with the help of our friends and family that we can fund this and give our boy the best chance possible of having this syndrome rectified. Hopefully with this it will also help with his ongoing treatment for his muscular disorder.
All we want is to do everything we possibly can to help our innocent little boy.

All our love
