Story

In September 2017, Lisa, John, Steven & Dave are cycling over 220 miles from Rugby, Warwickshire to Seaton, East Devon to raise money for Sadie's Dog Rescue www.sadiesstraydogrescue.com

Lisa & John's dog Rupert was saved from near death on the streets of Bacau, Romania by Sadie's last year. He was starving, had very little hair, a broken back and had given up. Sadie's rescued Rupert, treated and fed him, nursed him back to health and arranged for him to travel to the UK in the hope of finding a forever home.

Sadie's are currently working with dozens of sick and severely injured dogs all over Romania and rely solely on donations from the public to save these dogs from a life of terrible pain and suffering. Sadie's is staffed entirely by volunteers.

As you can see from Rupert's before and after pictures, Sadie's really do save lives. We would like to raise enough money to help treat and feed as many dogs as possible in the hope that they may have a chance of a happy ending, just like Rupert...

Thank you,

Lisa, John, Steve, Dave
