Lapworth Pre-school is a registered charity in England and Wales (1083888), members of The Pre-school Learning Alliance and regulated by Ofsted. The school is the only facility for children aged 2-4 in Lapworth and the surrounding villages and is run by the community headed by a small committee of parents. It relies heavily on support from parents in the school, local families and kind supporters in nearby areas to enable us to run and stay open.

Fundraising events are held throughout the year for various projects, maintenance and equipment. We are currently raising funds to upgrade various equipment including wellingtons and hi-visibility jackets for outdoor activities, forest school equipment, upgrading the mud kitchen and vegetable gardens and introducing new learning equipment including ipads for e-learning journals. This is to help the communication between parents and staff, to allow staff to be more productive with their time and children and offer greater results to their teaching and outcomes.
