We would be extremely grateful if you would take the time to consider making a donation to help us and our family raise money in aid of the Maternity Bereavement Suite at the Luton and Dunstable Hospital.

We must start by explaining our reasons for wanting to raise money for this wonderful and much needed support network.

In March 2016 my partner and I suffered one of the worst fates a parent could ever have to go through; our little boy, Alfie, was stillborn four months early. The support we received from the Bereavement Suite staff was so overwhelming and beneficial; they still support us now nearly two years later.

This service is so valuable to so many people but the hospital is not able to provide all the funding the service needs and they rely heavily on donations and fundraising events such as this.

We believe that everyone either has suffered in the way we have or knows someone who has across the generations.

At our previous charity quiz night in November 2017, we raised £1,000 to help fund our current event and the suite. We are attempting to complete a sponsored drive to all Premiership Rugby clubs and the home of English Rugby, Twickenham, within 24 hours. Once this drive has been completed we are holding a family fun day and auction night.

Any donations are greatly appreciated to raise as much money and awareness as possible.
