Im really wanting to start up my own business by hiring a hut on Herne bay pier selling personalised pet accessories and offering unusual merchandise that you wouldn't be able to buy in a pet shop.
I do a lot of fundraing for cancer as you can see in the pic, I shaved my head and for 180 days had a diffrent design facepainted on my head chosen by the public,my partner is a professional facepainter that has a hut on Herne bay pier,we are pretty well known in our area for the fundraising we do to help mainly children (about to start another!) We also even met Peter Andre with my bald painted head and hit the papers.
Although I love to help others and will continue to do so, I am wanting something for me now and that is to have a successful business so i'm able to treat my kids to more and provide for my family.
2years ago I started out with my own cleaning business but my health took a toll suffering scoliosis and other health issues that made it impossible for me to continue which made me feel a failure, but with a hut on the pier its not strenuous work and is certainly a possitive outlook.
Many people I've spoke to about this for opinions believe this will be a success on our pier as so many dog walkers go up the pier.
I'm wanting to make this a success and something to grow with always improving and introducing diffrent things that wouldnt be available in pet shops/stores.I'm not getting any younger but want to give this a shot,I will continue with my hard work fundraising but that does not better things for my own family,I want to give this my all.So really any help however small will mean the world to me.Thank you for reading my story
