I am looking to raise money for a good mountain bike so i can raise money for the critical care unit at gloucester royal hospital.

My name is Darren, i was admitted to the acute ward in November 2016 with jaundice, ended up having a seizure and put on the critical care unit in an induced coma for 3 weeks. I was an alcoholic.

I would not be here now if they hadn't have gave me the great medical care they did. I was that close to death, even though i don't remember much about it, my partner Lesley has said they were amazing.

I just want to give something back to help the training of future nurses in learning to give such life saving skills, by doing a sponsered cycle.
