Story
We are fundraising to purchase a bionic hand for Gillyan Cullen.
Gillyan, 18, from Cumbernauld was born with a condition called symbrachydactyly which means she was born without fingers on her left hand. A bionic hand would allow Gillyan to lead a fully independent life, managing many of the simple tasks we all take for granted.
As part of the fundraising efforts, I will be running the Direlton 10k on Sunday 3rd September through the beautiful and picturesque Archerfield Estate in East Lothian.
Gillyan and her family and friends have been working hard for many months and are very close to the target of £31,000 needed to purchase the hand.
If you can spare a pound or two, to help us to get her there, it would be greatly appreciated :-)
