Story
I respond voluntarily in my own time at no expense to the NHS, community or local Ambulance trust to people in cardiac arrest who are not breathing. I currently work full time for the Ambulance Service and I have agreed to volunteer be sent to these life threatening emergencies. This role has no funding and is run and organised by Good Sam. I would appreciate any help in funding toward getting an AED defibrillator and other emergency life saving equiptment. So far I have responded to numerous people who require help in and around my home town of Bognor Regis. I do this to give back to our community. Recently my own brother in law went into cardiac arrest and it was the help of a volunteer who gave CPR and used an AED that saved his life. This equipment really does change the way a person survives a traumatic cardiac arrest and really can give a person a second chance. I appreciate your kind donations. If there is any further money left after purchasing the equipment I will donate the rest to Kent sussex and Surrey air ambulance. Thank you
