Story

This is the most difficult time of our lives, not just for our family but everyone. The world has been welcomed to our world of seclusion, and fear of infection. What has been lived by most since March, we have lived since may 2017.

Lily was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia in may 2017 at age 5. She successfully completed her 2 and a half years of chemo to treat her cancer and rang the bell in August 2019.

Sadly in December 2019, Lily relapsed. Since then her body has struggled beyond its capabilities battling her cancer, paralysis and a bone marrow transplant on may 26th.

We were 4 days away from bringing Lily home after her transplant. She woke up unable to move her legs. Since then, we have had the worst news any parents should ever hear. Lily has had severe brain damage to a very rare inflammation overreaction. All treatment options are now completed, but sadly it hasn’t reversed her enchephalopthy. She has been in a coma state for nearly 3 weeks

Lily is now sadly on end of life care, at 9 years old! We have cured her cancer but the strain that has done to her body has caused irreversible damage.

I am setting up this page to ask for your kindness, in helping us give Lily a grand final journey, in true princess style. She has brothers and sisters that will never be the same without her, and a baby sister she will never get to meet.

Words cannot even describe how heartbroken we are. I cannot even begin to image my life without our beautiful, bubbly, creative and caring little lady.
