Story
Important Note: My original JustGiving page was accidentally closed so I have had to set up this new one. All the previous contributions on here (£165) plus all the offline contributions (£70) will still go to the school. I will add this £235 to whatever is raised here ... so let's try and raise the biggest possible total!!
The kids at Bridgerule School would really like some help to buy new computers and iPads to learn with! It is a lovely school, but very small and their budget is also limited.
I wanted to try to help the school by doing something that would benefit all of the kids there, so I have decided to try to raise some funds for this by running The Great West Run half marathon in Exeter on Sunday 15th October. I am hoping to complete it in under 2 hours - which is quite a challenge for me!
My daughter, Natalia, was the youngest child at Bridgerule School last year and is now starting in year 1. It would be great if she and all her friends had the chance to use the latest technology. If we can get new tablets for them to use they will have the best chance to learn right from the start.
Anything you can donate would help ... and of course I will report back on my progress (and pain!) as I train for the half marathon. Thank you!!!
