I am very excited to have been commissioned by Salford Choral Society and one of its members to write them a new piece.

This will involve singing and writing workshops in local primary schools, work with veterans living in the area as well as local community groups who will all have their part in creating a new piece, which will be premiered in June 2019 in Salford. The Arts bring communities together and the more funding we get for this project, the larger we can make it and the more outreach we can deliver.

The brilliant Tom Newall is the newly-appointed Musical Director of Salford Choral Society and since his appointment has committed to a yearly community concert in Salford.

On 3rd September 2017, Tom and I will run the Salford 10k to raise funds for this project. Funds raised will form part of the match funding so we can apply for a grant to run this 6-month long project in Salford.
