As part of our Citizenship coursework we have the task of raising awareness and money for a charity - our group (Alexia, Jermaine, Joni, Rosa, Skye and Zola) have decided to raise money for Make-a-Wish. Please check out their webpage for more information: www.make-a-wish.org.uk

Make-A-Wish UK strives to grant magical wishes to enrich the lives of children and young people who are fighting life-threatening conditions. Granting their wish provides seriously ill children hope for the future, strength to cope and resilience to fight their condition. They’re given quality time away from the daily realities of living with their condition and given the chance to make magical memories they can treasure forever – whatever their future may hold.

We would like to be involved in transforming the lives of children this year by granting their One True Wish! To do this we have split into two groups: Alexia, Jermaine and Skye will carry out a 60 mile bike ride, while Joni, Rosa and Zola will do a 1.5 mile swim.
