Dear friends, my football mad 11 year old Nephew Leo saved up his pocket money all year to take away on holiday with his mum and little sister Lexi. My sister is a single mum going through a divorce who scrimped and saved herself to take them to Barcelona, mainly so Leo, who's not coping with the break up of his family, could visit the Nou Camp Stadium home to his hero Naymar Jnr who was at the time a Barcelona player. He excitedly paid €95 for a Naymar shirt with all the La Liga badges etc on it, all his spending money. The very NEXT day Barcelona sold Neymar to Paris St Germain. Leo was Devastated so my sister tried to return the shirt which still had tags on but the club shop refused. She then contacted Nike who also refused. She's since tried appealing to FC Barcelona, Paris and Naymar himself but no sympathy or success. My sister knows nothing of football so couldn't have warned Leo that a transfer was on the cards and Leo himself was so excited at the prospect of his holiday and trip to the Nou Camp the transfer gossip had passed him by. The shop did nothing to warn punters and clearly had his shirts for sale at full price. I'm appealing for just £1or even 50p so we can replace the shirt which still remains in the plastic bag it came it under his bed.
