Story

September 2017 I will be faced with a huge challenge. I'm running the Scottish Half Marathon. I've never attempted to run this far however I gathered that if my Mum can go through having cancer with a smile on her face I can go through the pain of running 13.1 miles.
My Mum was suffering from stomach pains for a few months and dismissed it. She eventually seen her doctor who referred her for more tests. The worst news came a few weeks on and she was diagnosed with bowel cancer. She has since been through a major operation and is currently having chemotherapy for 6 months with the hope that the cancer will be gone. She is receiving her treatment at St Johns Hospital Oncology Department and all who work there have been fantastic and as such we would like to give something back to them. All donations will be given to the Oncology Department who I'm sure will be so grateful.
No one knows your body like you do and if you feel something isn't right get it checked out. Our Doctors and Nurses truly do a wonderful job to help us at some stage of our lifes.

All donations are greatly appreciated.
