I've raised £1500 to dedicate a bench in Primrose Hill in Margaret’s memory

Margaret Leibbrandt lived in Primrose Hill for over 30 years. She loved the area and especially the view of Primrose Hill from her window. For those who knew her, she had a great love of writing. She often said she felt like she was actually talking to the person she was writing to! We wonder how many of these conversations she had over the years! She will also be fondly remembered for the many quaint sketches she drew of people and animals.
We would love to dedicate a bench in Chalcot Square, Primrose Hill in her memory. She loved this part of Primrose Hill, and would have loved others to take time to read a book, write a card or just enjoy watching the world go by.
£1500 is the amount set by Camden council for a commemorative bench. The benches are traditionally styled heavy duty park benches and will include a stainless steel plaque which we will dedicate to Margaret. Further information to follow.
