My name is Mariam Muzongo I am an artist known as "Valencia cy" and a mother.born in Congo, raised up in Europe from the age of one.
During my first visit in Congo last year; I went to see the hospital where I was born unfortunately I was heart broken and devastated to see them struggle to provide for they New borns and for themself some of them are retained in hospital with no food supplies accessories. Sadly to hear some women and they baby can't be released from the hospital to go home just because the can't afford to pay the maternity cost and some die because no treatment can be done because of no payment. Being a witness of this me and my partern decided that with our holiday funds we will use it to donate to all maternity women in one hospital; we bought baby clothings, blanket, milk, sugar, other babies accessories et.. . This is just 1 out of a 1000 00 women that we helped, there's plenty out more that need our help and love being a mother myself I can relate to they situation in Europe we have all this facility but in Congo they have none. We can't change what as already been done but we can make the future better by giving help regularly providing supply to 10 Hospitals such as baby accessories, milk, blanket, bottles, nappies and more....
