Story
I first knew of Jamie when he used to play cricket with the local kids outside the green next to my flat, although I never really got to know him until two years ago when we started travelling together to Southampton FC away games. It was then that he started to enable me at away matches. He worked as carer for people with learning difficulties and disabilities which is something he wanted to do given he has a disabled elder brother John. (In the photo with him) Always putting others first before his own needs and having a cheeky smile for everyone he came into contact with. He died at the age of 23 of a heart attack at Southampton General Hospital at 5.10am on Friday morning. The next day, a minutes applause was held for him during the Southampton vs Watford game on the 22nd minute. To all who knew him he was a warm, kind, humourous & generous human being who will be sorely missed by family & friends alike.
