Story
I'm running my 10th Great North Run this year and raising money for Newcastle Street Paws.
Me and Lauren adopted Fred 5 years ago and the staff at Vets4Pets North Tyneside have been brilliant in treating his many (many) problems with various creams, potions and injections. They've been brilliant to us.
They also run a fantastic and selfless charity and outreach service called Newcastle Street Paws which tries to provide treatment and vet services for the pets of homeless people in the North East.
Everyone will have seen a homeless person with a pet, they will of course try and do their best but Newcastle Street Paws provides that expert care for free, vets and staff give up their spare time to help these animals, they really deserve some extra support for all the other Fred's, Rollo's and Albie's.
I'm trying to raise £100 for every GNR I'll have done by the end, yes its ambitious but I think these people and these animals really deserve our help!! As an extra spur, I'll be looking ridiculous in a morph suit complete with Dalmatian spots and waggy tail.
Thank you for reading and any amount you can donate!!!
