Story

Ice was rescued from the streets of Cairo. His rescuer tried for two years (!) to find Ice a home, but he was constantly being overlooked, as he is "just a tabby". Eventually a rescue in UK has agreed to foster him and to find him a home in England.
He was then prepared to travel to the UK to start his new life. This took 4 months of preparing documents including rabies vaccine, and passport. Everything was great - until at the airport they spotted a small error in Ice's vaccine card. Ice was allowed to travel as the vet and the airline has approved his certificates.
But...when Ice arrived at Heathrow, they spotted a "small" error. His rabies certificate had a wrong date put on, a mistake done by the vet. Do you think it's not a problem? Well, it is a problem, and it's a big one. "The law says..."-he will not be released. The poor cat is currently at the kennels awaiting decision.

Ice has two options:
-he will die
-he will pay £1,800 for 4 months quarantine.

The saddest thing is is that Ice doesn't have anyone to love him and to fight for him, and he never had. Back in Egypt he was always unwanted, because he's not a pedigree, and now he's in the biggest trouble in his life. A perfectly healthy, young kitty ended up on a death row because of veterinary error.

He is now being held in quarantine for 4 long months. If the funds aren't raised, he will be put to sleep.

£1,800 is a ridiculous amount of money. But we owe it to him to at least try and raise this for him.
