I’m doing a 300ft Bungee jump on 15th October. I’m jumping to raise money on behalf of my friend and colleague Rajinder Nerr whose 13 year old son Jaydan has a rare condition called Hypothalamic Hamartoma. This is a brain tumour which is benign but which leaves Jaydan having frequent seizures (anything up to 10 a day) which affect all aspects of his life. There is a cure available for Jaydan’s condition, but it’s only available in a specialised hospital in Texas USA. Rajinder and family had hoped that funding would be made available for the cure, but after a long application process, they were left devastated when their application was rejected. In the meantime, Jaydan’s symptoms worsen as he gets older and his medication has less effect.

Rajinder is trying to raise £100,000 to fund specialist treatment which will stop Jaydan’s seizures and give him a chance to have a life of independence.
