Nathan is 4 months old and was found with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). Nathan and his family live in Zambia where effects of his treatment should it commence would be difficult to manage. More importantly a detailed diagnosis of leukemia sub types could not be done with the medical equipment available.

The family obtained cost estimates from South Africa which were approximately $150,000. A cost estimate was also obtained from India which puts the cost at $60,000.

Nathan was flown to India where biphenotype Leukemia has been confirmed. He has been commenced on Interfant ALL Protocol with bone marrow transplant at a later stage.

Nathans Parents are limited financially as the bill of $60,000 to treat their son is beyond their current income.
